Hi, my name is Eddie Peters. I'm from Torres Strait Islands - born in Thursday Island.   
It's still spoken up in the Islands but some islands 
don't speak language because now Creole become the main language in all Torres Strait Islands
but some of the Islands still speak traditional languages.
In Mainland also, only through the older people, 
because many of them are still alive many have passed on but in family gatherings
they speak language and but also speak Creole.
